Biosketch

Dr. Adriano Azaripour studied dentistry in Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany. Since 2007 he works in the Department of Periodontology where he became an associated professor in 2013. In 2019 he also started to work in the Department of oral & maxillofacial surgery. The first 2 years, he specialized in endodontology and performed his first clinical trials examining. In 2010, he received a grant from the German Society of Periodontology and started with his specialization in periodontology where he received a Master of Science degree in 2012. In 2013-2014, he obtained a postgraduate internship with Dr. Cortellini and Prof. Tonetti in Italy to increase his knowledge in periodontal regeneration and microsurgical skills. At the end of 2013, he decided to deepen his knowledge in cell biology and histochemistry. For that purpose, he moved to Amsterdam where he started his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. C.J.F. Van Noorden in the Department of Cell Biology and Histology at the Academic Medical Center where he received his PhD.

Since 2016 he founded a dental clinic dedicated to microinvasive dentistry in Bad Soden, Germany. He is an international speaker in field of periodontology and implantology and author of several articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
