Dr. Elias Khoury earned his dental degree from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 2023. Following graduation, he gained clinical experience at the Department of Prosthodontics in Mainz before starting his doctoral thesis (Dr. med. dent.) in 2024, focusing on socket preservation, a key area in regenerative implantology.
Since February 2024, he has been serving as a resident in oral surgery at the prestigious Privatzahnklinik Schloss Schellenstein in Olsberg, Germany. Here, he is actively involved in advanced oral surgical and implantological procedures, with a strong focus on bone regeneration and soft tissue management.
Dr. Khoury is a member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the German Society of Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine (DGZMK), the German Association of Oral Implantology (DGI), the German Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AGOKi), and the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO).
His academic and clinical interests include implantology, socket preservation, hard and soft tissue regeneration, and bone augmentation and harvesting.
As a lecturer in the Master of Personalized Oral Implantology and Periodontology (MPOIP), Dr. Elias Khoury contributes to the program by supporting the hands-on surgical modules und clinical teaching sessions alongside leading experts. His role bridges the gap between advanced clinical techniques and academic development, providing participants with high-quality, practice-oriented education.
